Yea what a joke! Ranked ahead of Brazil, Argentina, Italy, and Portugal to name a few.

USA down 8 spots to 36 overall

The reasoning they gave for USA going down 10 spots is that you get a majority of your points from major tournaments, and the next calendar year the points from that get cut in half.. so our good Gold Cup campaign points aren't nearly as.. pointy any more.

Given that England didn't qualify to the Euro 08 tourney this was always gonna be a big boost to their rankings
