David Villa approaching full fitness
Still could use a reliable backup center forward. Wasn't fond of Alexis Sanchez wasting good chances last season.
Probably a need for a better backup centerback as Puyol enters the twilight of his career. Mascherano is still quality, but they could use another option.
Tito Villanova has yet to manage a game for a top flight club, but has experience with the B team.
