Read through this scoring system I found on another site, and answer these questions if you are interested in joining a/the league.

Note: These aren't official signups. Let's shoot for this weekend/early next week for those.

quote:

5.1 – Goalkeepers:
5.1.1 – Goal: two (2) points
5.1.2 – Assist: one (1) point
5.1.3 – Saves: one (1) point for every two (2) saves
5.1.4 – Goal Against: minus-one (–1) point
5.1.5 – Win: two (2) points
5.1.6 – Draw: one (1) point

5.2 – Forwards and Midfielders:
5.2.1 – Goal: two (2) points
5.2.2 – Assist: one (1) point

5.3 – Defenders
5.3.1 — Goal: two (2) points
5.3.2 — Assist: one (1) point
5.3.3 — Clean Sheet: one (1) points
5.3.4 — Goal Conceded: minus-one (–1) point for every two (2) goals conceded

1. What would you like to add to/take away from the above scoring system?

2. How many keepers should we have from season to season (if any) and what rules should we put on them?

3. Should we do trades and first come, first serve free agents or a transfer budget for both situations?

4. How many players should be on each club?

5. What would be the best time for you to draft? (Season starts on the 18th. Latest date for drafts should be 14th or 15th.)

6. Would you be willing to be a commissioner for a league?

7. Would you be interested in a pay league?

Trying to kick-start a draft league with anyone else interested.

1. What would you like to add to/take away from the above scoring system? I think we should have bonus points for clean sheets by a goalie and hat tricks.

2. How many keepers should we have from season to season (if any) and what rules should we put on them? My idea is three: A captain, vice-captain and a U-23 player. Just something different.

3. Should we do trades and first come, first serve free agents or a transfer budget for both situations? Transfer budget would be great, but it would take great effort to pull it off.

4. How many players should be on each club? I was thinking 15. A team should have a backup goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and forward. Draft should be 12 rounds, with the remaining three subs coming from free agency. Think of it as a frenzied transfer window to kick off the season.

5. What would be the best time for you to draft? (Season starts on the 18th. Latest date for drafts should be 14th or 15th.) Next weekend (Friday the 10th-Sunday the 12th).

6. Would you be willing to be a commissioner for a league? Yep.

7. Would you be interested in a pay league? Nope.

Sorry, I'm out on the draft. We had a lot of fun in the salary cap league.

Just typed a long response and got a stop sign.

Don't feel like typing it all out again. I would be for 3 keepers. Do not like first-come, first-serve free agents. And I don't want to be a commissioner and am not interested in a pay league.

I did too at first. Third time this site has done that today.

Noted. Transfer budget?

And, Bho, I'm sure someone's going to start the regular-style league. Just something different that a bunch of us talked about.

I like 1 point for MoM award (usually given to 1 player every game from the FA)

Also, yellow cards are -1, red cards are -2.

Again, I have no idea what this means.

I like transfer budget.

11+3/4

It should be on a weekend sometime. Preferably at night.

6. Would you be willing to be a commissioner for a league?

I'll be commissioner of relegation.

7. Would you be interested in a pay league?

Yes, depending on the price.

Next season, each club that comes back gets to keep three players from last season. An incentive to keep playing that prevents complete randomness from season to season...while also preventing stockpiling.

I'm not a fan of a transfer budget in NFL fantasy leagues. I'm one of those people that change bench players frequently. So I would say I'm no fan of transfer budgets but I could adjust to a rule like that.

1. What would you like to add to/take away from the above scoring system?
I would be ok with its current format. That is up for you to decide.

2. How many keepers should we have from season to season (if any) and what rules should we put on them?
I am very against keepers in this league.

3. Should we do trades and first come, first serve free agents or a transfer budget for both situations?
FAAB for free agents. Trading both players and for salary would be badass and can definitely be done.

4. How many players should be on each club?
Eleven starters and a bench of three to five players.

5. What would be the best time for you to draft? (Season starts on the 18th. Latest date for drafts should be 14th or 15th.)
Most nights could work.

6. Would you be willing to be a commissioner for a league?
Nah, but I could give a lot of help with running a fantasy league.

7. Would you be interested in a pay league?
In all honesty, there is probably not enough time to collect the money. I am not even sure if there is enough time to pull this off.

1. What would you like to add to/take away from the above scoring system?
Defenders = one (1) point for 60 minutes played and change the Goal conceded to (-1) perhaps?
2. How many keepers should we have from season to season (if any) and what rules should we put on them?
At most 1-2, not a huge fan of them though
3. Should we do trades and first come, first serve free agents or a transfer budget for both situations?
I are not understand ramifications of this topic, me want meat.
4. How many players should be on each club?
If league size = 10 teams... about 15?
5. What would be the best time for you to draft? (Season starts on the 18th. Latest date for drafts should be 14th or 15th.)
Nearly whenever, preferably not Fri or Sat night obviously
6. Would you be willing to be a commissioner for a league?
I wouldn't want to as I'm still relatively new to EPL fantasy, maybe next yar.
7. Would you be interested in a pay league?
Not a huge fan, but $10 or so isn't a big deal if the majority want to.
