Does a corner have to be taken to be counted?

Had a bet yesterday in the Chicago/San Jose game of under 8 on corners.
A corner was taken at 90'5. That was knocked over the goal by the goalie. Game ended after that. I was originally paid out, but they took the money back and gave me a push. So since the corner actually wasn't taken does it count?

Its not a gift, Im being fricked. They are counting the non taken corner against me. Various sites have it at either 7 or 8 for corners taken for the game. I had under 8. Bovada had it at 7 and paid me out then took it back and called it a push. There was only 1 corner taken after the 95' mark in that CHicago v San Jose game.

Sorry I thought I understood it the other way around. That you got screwed by the untaken corner and needed them to take it.

Generally on betting sites, and I'm more familiar with British rules, they have up to 24 hours to adjust stats from the game.

They paid me out. Sent them pics and videos of the game ending before the corner took place.
