In internationals (i.e. not versus shitty SPL competition) he's always looked like the same supremely average guy.

I was pleased with him today. In Azteca, out of position, on a yellow for 80 minutes and with Mexico gunning for you he stood tall. Definitely got beat a few times, but that is to be expected.
