looking good so far... this is also the new squad Eduardo plays for, so both fixtures will be very special for him, imo.

To be honest, I never really cared much for Eduardo.

Well Rangers can hope for third in this group.

he was doing great before his injury, had 12 goals and 8 assists in 31 games. but he was a shell of a player when he came back /sniffle

Excellent. At this point, all I want is to avoid any eastern European teams to avoid massive travel (no thank you Rubin Kazan!). Otherwise, it doesn't matter - we didn't get Real, we shouldn't have any significant difficulties.

I wonder if they'll be any threat at all without Silva and Villa. The only other player I can name for them is Juan Mata. But those two definitely seemed to be the weight-bearers for their offensive threat.

yerp, looks to be smooth sailing, although Arsenal have never won in Ukraine (3 defeats, 1 draw)
eta: Arsenal have lost two and drawn one of three away games in Portugal in the Champions League.
having said that, we always beat the teams when they come to the Emirates

And it's all done. And I could make a case for Group G as the toughest of them all.
