Nani's shot gets blocked but goes directly to Park who puts up a very nice header for the goal.
Pretty poor marking from Squill, left Park wide open. But, very unlucky for the gunners. The shot gets blocked but lands on Park's head.

I hate Ji-Sung Park or whatever order his name goes.

Nasri has made some surprisingly poor decisions. Not showing his usual patience. He's surely feeling the creative burden.
Him, Jack, and Rosicky need to cut it out when they are in the final 3rd. They keep forcing flicks, backheels between each other and they always get intercepted.
Arshavin needs to get subbed for Theo, the Gunners need a threat on the wing.
I'd even like to see Cesc come in for Rosicky/Jack if they can't come up with any creative/successful distribution in the final 3rd.

Also how the hell did Fletcher avoid a card for what he did to Webb after that no-call? Webb is horrible.

Arsenal's young keeper is more consistent when it comes to saves, but his distribution of the ball is probably the worst I have ever seen.
Goodness, why do you blow every time I see you play Arshavin?

So how do Arsenal change the squad to become more attack oriented?
Posted on 12/13/10 at 2:50 pm to ATLienTiger
Arshavin's arse needs to be benched. Song has been terrible. Nasri has been off. We're gonna lose.

We seem like we are afraid to play. We need to get this fear out of our system. Our movement has been very poor, and our passing has been off the mark. We need some serious inspiration.

Walcott for AA23
RvP for Chamakh
Fabregas for Rosicky

I think Nasri should stay on, he just needs some astute advice to recalibrate his concentration. Take off arshavin for RvP. Sub Wilshere for Theo. Later, sub Song for Cesc with about 20 to go.

We are trying to be too cute in the final 3rd. We need to work in possession and try to break down Man U. Song has been much more disciplined, which is good to see, but he hasn't been that great.

Obviously AA needs to be subbed like we have all noticed, question is do you bring on RVP or Theo.
I'd be willing to let Chamakh stay on longer, he hasn't played poor.
RVP needs to see the pitch though, since Arsenal need some creativity in attack, and someone who shots the ball near the box.
I'd say Theo for AA for starters. Then I just cant decide who to take off for RVP and Cesc. Two of Jack, Rosicky, and Song.
Nasri needs to settle down, he is forcing everything out there. He is involved a ton, but his passes get intercepted nearly every time.

He keeps trying to go parallel to the 18 yard line, flicking a quick diagonal ball to meet a shallow run. The problem is that Man U is clogging the passing lanes because they don't think Nasri will shoot. He needs to go at it with his left so they will respect the shot and hopefully this will open up a passing lane or two.

It's so frustrating seeing Arsenal's attack, it's either watch Jack and Nasri get stuffed in the center of the 18, or feed it out wide to Clichy/Sagna who whip in crosses to Chamakh who is triple teamed.

Arshavin, please remove youruself from this match now, please.
Posted on 12/13/10 at 3:16 pm to ATLienTiger
Chamakh really should have finished that. Fairly easy finish.
But, ManU had a shot saved by a great effort from the Arsenal keeper. So I guess it's even.
