Song was among the reasons we moved from a 2 man midfield. He was extremely slow. Felliani is the better athlete. I've never said he was a better player than Song though.

The Sahin deal is turning into another Sigurdsson for Liverpool. Apparently Madrid have accepted a bid from Liverpool and want Sahin to go there, but the player would rather a move to Arsenal (who still has an offer on the table) where he can play CL. Reports are that no deal will be done until early next week at the earliest. Looks like everything depends on Song and whether or not he is replaced before then.

I'm all for Sahin on loan but I think we should still spend the Song money on players such as cover for our right back.

i really wish we could go through an uneventful offseason. This offseason for my teams has been nuts. LSU's was crazy... Arsenal's has been crazy... and the Saints??? ridiculous.
This is insane. And I think they should close the transfer window BEFORE the season begins. WTF?

Yeah prior to about 1 month ago I was really excited that I'd stop hearing about the saints, and LSU & Arsenal would be up soon and both of them are fine!..
Then the RVP news hit... "Ok, I've still got #1 ranked LSU!"
Then the TM7 news hit... "well that blows, but I guess Arsenal isn't too bad off with the new signings"
