He's having an amazing season. 12 goals last year but he played a good bit as a striker. This year 9 in the premiership, 15 overall, leads the team in assists, and all of it from the midfield. His overall game has been better too.
I think Lampard (how does he have 9 goals this year, he doesn't even start regularly) is the only midfielder that has produced similar numbers, just stats wise, in the EPL.

He's had hat tricks in his last two home games. Charlton in the FA Cup and today.

so i take it that he is the first american to score 2 hat tricks in the epl??
also why are we trying to play him as a winger/midfielder/whatever we are doing with him. PLAY THE MAN AS A STRIKER

Naw, he's scored one in the FA Cup (or CC or whatever), but never in Premier League play

oh yeah it was FA cup...
first american to score hat tricks in FA cup and EPL in the same season..
the 2 EPL hat tricks was just a subliminal prophecy.

I thought the same thing at first but under the video is the pages link. Second goal is on the second page, etc.
