I didn't hear this one personally, so attack me all you want if this is untrue. Anyways....apparently he just said that he doesn't see a sure fire NFL starter on Alabama's defense.

Yea, he said MAYBE Upshaw. But, he isn't a great runner.

Your first mistake is listening to Skip Bayless. The man is a real life troll.

They were debating where Bama's D ranked all time. The agreement from the "expert panel" was that Bama didn't have any big names. They also said you couldn't rank the D until we saw how some players did in the NFL.

I guess the only thing he has ever said that made sense was when he said Lsu at #1 was a joke

See...this is what people get confused with. People see what the '01 Miami Hurricanes did in the NFL and crown them as the greatest college team of all-time because of it. Yes, they were good, but they struggled in several games that year. When judging college football units, "experts" should be restricted to studying just what the players do in college. That's why I rank the '95 Nebraska squad as the greatest ever.

Wow.
However, it will be interesting to see if Alabama's LB are used as DEs in the NFL, or if they play LB they'll have to drop some pounds (16 game season is LONG). Either way, they'll be okay.
