Your epic fail was trying to predict what a bunch of 18 kids will do. All we heard on he last week was how LSU was going to kill us and how they were going to run the tables. That was an epic fail too.

We are not a great team this year. I don't think anyone is saying that but you have to admit we have won every game we played and if we keep doing that then we will win the NC. Can we lose? Sure. Can Florida lose? Sure. Until you play the game you just don't know. The only thing that is keeping us from being great is qb play especially in the red zone. Fix that and we have a great team. Just my opinion.

I wonder what this place would have been like if Bama had of lost the game.

There would be a lot of moaning and carping from Bama homers, and some Bama fans admiting our team was out of gas and ideas.

Let's say 3 TDs. Third and two at the goal line, when the refs call Julio for 12 men on the field, and two overthrown passes on WIDE OPEN receivers.

Now you get it.

Fair enough. Of course, we could say the same thing with the "running into the kicker", or the drive where we got to your 30, only to have two stupid penalties to back us out of FG range.

But yes, I can roll with your observation...

I'm pretty damn good at it.

See my post history. I wasn't one of those people. In my circles, I picked Bama to win this game by 4.

I totally agree with your assesment there. And hey, you still could win a NC with what you have in place. But I think it will catch up with you. Too many weaknesses right now, a la Iowa.

Just my honest observation.

I will take my "3rd fiddle" two crystal football status this decade any day of the week.

You will get yours in Tiger Stadium in 2010.

I still can't believe we almost beat you guys last year. You know how bad our team was last year? Easily our worst team since 1999.

Go back and read the OP again.

You struggled to beat an injury riddled, slightly above average CFB team at home. You are NOT BCSNC caliber if you struggle against a team like LSU or Tennessee for that matter.

I know. It's the old "you suck because you barely beat us, and we REALLY suck" putdown. Fair enough.

Bama's O looks anemic, expecially against tough defenses like TN and LSU. The difference is the staying power in the 4th, and Bama's got it this year.

I can believe it. We've all seen the famous no-call picture of Big Herm pulling Cody's jersey off on Scott's TD run, while Bama had a TD called back for holding. Fourteen point swing right there.

Dude, just stop. Your profile says you were born in 76. Act your age. Yeah it sucks we lost and damn near all of us wish we had Saban still but Bama won and it was a good game.

You make it worse on yourself by acting like a little girl on here and finding lameass ways to try and burn Bammers. You do realize we weren't blowing out SEC opponents in our best years either huh? Jesus...

Dude, you're LSU, you shouldn't be worrying about how we finish. LSU is a great school, your goal is to be in our place. You should be more focused on getting to Atlanta next year.

This guy has it right. I'm gonna enjoy watching LSU go 10-2 and go to a solid bowl and I'm also gonna enjoy the SEC taking another BCS title.

Florida almost lost to an Arkansas team that Alabama destroyed. You can't look by game to game.

Well, I wouldn't go that far. I lived through the 90's. I think LSU is a top 20 team, but if you are #2, and you are at home playing against a bunch of backups at skill positions.....

Aside from a busted play by our D, with our best player on the sideline, that fourth quarter was up in the air. You know it, and I know it.

Honestly, our backups would not have won the game, but to say that one team had more "staying power" in the 4th yesterday is giving one team too much credit, IMO.

Again, I picked Bama to win. After watching us play UF and Bama, UF is way ahead of you this year.

.....heavy doses of Ingram vs. Florida......that's the key, IMO......congrats on the win, and we'll see you in 2010

I don't think Bama will decline. They will stay about the same and lose the Sugar Bowl.

I remember The Bear and am glad Bama is back. But until you win a couple of NC's you are not up there with Florida or LSU.

I have to disagree about the Florida statement. IMO McElroy will be the key because they will stack the box and contain Ingram.

Regardless of how many NC's we have won this decade Bama is still an elite program, just as much as Florida or LSU.

No, nor did we need outside help to win the games.

Where in this thread have I said that I wasn't. I'm even pimping out a 2010 beatdown of Bama in TS.

PS - Don't forget to call!
