I agree that he wasn't in but you gotta admit by that time the ref probably wasn't looking closely for whether or not he would cross the plane with the ball. He assumed it was a td by then like everyone else watching the game.

If for some reason the offical were to signal TD or blow his whistle in that situation, then yes the play would be over.

No. Honestly it's ridiculous how much LSU fans bitch about refs. The ones that do should stop after that. Alabama fans can't do anything about the PP7 int either.
