Really hard to say until we add portal players. The fact that we have Nuss back brings optimism.

Idk if Hurley could be the guy, but we need a package for a physical qb in short yardage and red-zone I.e. Zach Pyron at Ga. Tech. as well.
Correct, which is a lot of 2 & 3 tight end sets. Didn’t have the personnel to run it this year.
Offensive philosophy in 2025

LSU’s first signee out of the portal was a physical tight end, wouldn’t be surprised if they add another inline blocking tight end in the portal as well. Hopefully we see much more 12 personnel next year and a commitment to the running game. This will help Nuss find explosive plays down the field in play action. I know he’s recruited well but personally I’d like to see a switch at o-line coach, Daniels hid a lot of our deficiencies in the run game with his scrambling ability in ‘23.

Notre Dame had a combined 6 starts returning on the o-line this year. Lost a 1st and 2nd round tackle, their o-line play has improved throughout the season and been dominant as of late. However, they have a better o-line coach than LSU.
