How many games can be decided by one goal

scored as a result of horrid officiating? What the frick is this bullshite game they're trying to get us to like? I dislike soccer the more I see this bullshite. I'm still a half-arse fan, but they lost a lot of my fandom this tournament.
Oh, and to clarify, the goal kick awarded to spain should have been a corner to the Dutch, and the're really no way any non-blind person could have seen it otherwise.

The more I watch soccer the more I dislike it.

I like the game, and always have. It's entertaining. But the players are absolute bitches... and the bitchier they are, the more their team benefits. Take a mild forearm to the shoulder/neck? Go to the ground grabbing your face and get the 'offender' ejected from the game, leaving his team down a man for the match.
A player just tried to get out of the way, and got a yellow card for his efforts. This game is becoming more and more bullshite every match I watch.

Ray Allen's overturned shot clock violation

Am I the only one who clearly saw the ball hit the rim on the replays? My friends(of course Laker fans) were yelling and screaming at me saying I was blind. Who else thinks it was an easy call after seeing the replay?

Olympic Coverage is a joke.
Posted by TreeFiddy on 2/23/10 at 8:43 am
Or should I say human interest story coverage. I thought these olympics were starving of action, but this story proves it. NBC needs to just hang it up.
I was watching the olympics, and they started on another human interest piece. I changed over to 24, which was just coming out of commercial break. I watched the WHOLE segment of 24, and half the commercial break. When I switched back to the "Olympics" they were STILL on the same story, about a guy that wasn't even in the olympics. This is fricking disgusting.

An analysis of NBC's 3 ½-hour program Friday night showed that there were 56 minutes, 41 seconds of commercials over 24 breaks—that's three more minutes than actual event action that was showed. Ski jumping, which took up about 30 minutes of the broadcast, featured less than two minutes of action, compared with four minutes, 46 seconds of replays (there was, on average, more than one replay per jump). More than half the time during the compulsory-dancing segments showed action, but good luck getting into a rhythm watching the sport: A commercial break separated each routine.

Drew Brees and confidence
Posted by TreeFiddy on 12/1/09 at 12:07 am
I made a comment tonight to a friend about absolute confidence in Brees. It was before he threw the last TD, as he was standing in the pocket. I called "touchdown," and knew for certain that it would be one.
In the past, when a Saints qb(or LSU for that matter) dropped back, "don't throw a pick" entered my mind and I could envision a guy in the wrong uniform catching the ball. With this team, if Brees stands in the pocket for more than a second or two, I know that there's a greater than probable chance at a big gain or touchdown. "Don't throw a pick" or "oh no" doesn't enter my mind.
Can anybody else remember ever feeling like this about our teams? It's beautiful.
WHO DAT!!!!
Time for a victory cigar.

4% on a checking account?
Posted by TreeFiddy on 5/29/09 at 9:31 am
RCB Bank in Northeast Oklahoma is offering 4% on checking accounts up to $25000(account balance). No fees. You have to use the debit card 12 times a month, get statements online, and check your account online once a month. If you do that, there are no fees.
Sounds pretty good, but is it too good?

Pretty damn entertaining. It's almost like listening to sportscenter through the whole game.
From tonight: "THE ROOKIE! WITH A FEARLESS HOIST!" after some guy made a 15 foot jump shot.
