Christmas Tractor Implement Gift
Posted by Hatcher Hall Shrink on 12/6/19 at 7:13 pm
It’s Christmas and I’m shopping for an implement for my JD 5045E tractor. I’m looking at a grapple bucket. Folks say it’s wonderful. Any thoughts or ideas that I need to consider. Open to other implements also. I’ve got a bale spear and a bucket already.
Seoul Information

Going to Seoul tomorrow. My son has been there several months teaching English. Anything that I need to see or not see while I’m there. I’ve heard that the War Museum is good and maybe going to the DMZ. Any helpful hints are most welcome.
Outdoor camera for surveillance and security
Posted by Hatcher Hall Shrink on 6/30/17 at 8:10 pm
Moving out in country in the next few days. Wanted to put up some cameras to see if any meth heads are eyeing my tractors and outside stuff.
Do I use hunting cameras or are there some better ideas???
Edit---it looks like I want a wireless outdoor cam. I see that Bushnell and Covert have nice ones. Anyone have experience with either or wireless cams in general. Thanks.

Needing to prune a ton of tree limbs on a piece of property I'm moving to in a few weeks. Actually looking forward to it.
Wow, the prices range from $150 to over a thousand.
Hqv, Remington, Poulon,Echo. Lots of choices and prices.
This Board always educates me.

Louis Vitton round robin going on in Bermuda. It looks like the Kiwis and Oracle are the best but it's still early. These boats fly literally across the water.
Who's off tomorrow?

The only thing I like about the Big Ten. They have the best wrestling. Should be a good dual meet.

New Tractor---Cab or no Cab
Posted by Hatcher Hall Shrink on 1/6/17 at 7:06 pm
Buying my first tractor. I live in Central Mississippi and will be working with cattle on 23 acres. Got my eye on a JD 5065E. What are y'all's thoughts about a cab. Days like today it would be nice. How about for the whole year.
First Time Buyer of a Tractor
Posted by Hatcher Hall Shrink on 12/26/16 at 5:50 am
Long time reader, first time poster. This City Boy is moving to the Country. Moving to 23 acres and looking to raise about 10 head of cattle. Not doing any crops. I've never bought a tractor and will need one. I'm obviously a novice so I need one that is reliable. There are a lot of options--Kubota, Deere, Mahindra, CaseIH, etc.. Are these all the same machines with different paint jobs or are there differences. A lot of experienced folks on this board and would value all opinions, positive and negative, before I buy one. Also interested to know which attachments to the tractor are beneficial or not.
