Well, the kleptocratic regime currently entrenched in Kiev is a proxy for one of the most corrupted political elements in the West: this nation’s MIC. Anyone who suggests otherwise is a fool or a tool.
This is a legitimate question, not a gotcha attempt. It's always been my understanding that a proxy war is a war fought between two [or more] countries indirectly through "proxies." Am I incorrect?

The MIC would be selling these arms to Ukraine regardless. Not getting it from us changes nothing about this except for some other country is the home for the sales.
