The tweet is not in their "post" section it is in the "replies" section. I thought I had looked through those, but I realized when I went to double-check everything I had done. I had checked the posts section on the J&J account because I thought maybe it was buried there since they hadn't spun Tylenol off at the time. I left the tab open and when I went to check replies, I accidentally scrolled down the J&J site I realized this when I went to recheck.
Here is the tweet in the replies section of Tylenol:
Then I had my first chance to really read the language because I had been wrapped up in what I thought was an odd acting tweet.
I honestly think the language is fine. It is in line with their packaging warnings. It is possible to read that as them saying is is unsafe in blanket form, but it is really saying they simply don't make recommendations for its use just like they don't with liver disease or taken in conjunction with blood thinners (specifically Warfarin aka Coumadin). In other words "we don't give recommendations to women pregnant or breastfeeding, either to not take or take it with dosage and frequency. This is too complex for OTC package recs, this is the kind of thing you would see on prescription med package inserts. They are simply referring you to your health care professionals for recommendations on what is safe or not for you and your child, unborn or breastfeeding.
