That's not entirely true, but in politics what is? If it weren't for the money making it possible for folks to pay their bills...and not unemployment etc but paying government contractors for doing nearly nothing....and its happening, I have been in the meetings and it is a matter of public record....and extending benefits to state and local governments so they can continue to function...the states would have been under too much pressure to do this crazy shite. The decision was made to make it possible to have as little impact as possible regardless of the costs....allowing governors and mayors to make an easy decision to err on the side of caution. Was it the right call? Time will tell, but it won't have happened without unitended consequences, some of which will be bad.

depends on what my personal financial situation.
