After years of painstaking research, scientists have confirmed a repeatable, demonstrable, peer-reviewed phenomenon: if you want to watch a great American city slowly eat itself, simply install a progressive mayor, wait eighteen months, and observe.
San Francisco — the experiment works. Portland — the experiment works. Chicago — still working. Baltimore — they’ve been running the experiment for fifty years and refuse to publish the results.
This is no longer politics, people. This is science. The hypothesis was tested. The data was collected. The tents went up, the businesses left, and the police went with them. ‘
You can replicate these results in any major metro area. Just follow the method. It’s reproducible. It’s peer-reviewed. And if you question it — well, you’re anti-science. And we don’t do that anymore.”
