first point in quote is truth.
nothing about the Trump/Ryan bill is about reducing costs of medical procedures, hospital stays, and the medical school bills of US citizens, or reducing the cost of script/drugs.
What the poster I am replying to is saying is If someone cannot pay, do not make me pick up the slack.
Dear Poster, before Ocare you already paid for the poor to go to the ER for the flu. And you paid a lot more for ER than you would have paid to put that poor on medicaid.
there is no plan proposed by the GOP that makes you not have to pay for other people.
its just a matter of how much you will pay.
I vote for us both paying LESS. medicare/single payer
You are proposing to pay MORE in ER visits and worse situations in hospital, taking longer, require more MD time and more resources just so you can not be a commie and so not have socialist medicare for all.

It really is a testament to the genius and skill of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Obama, and Democrats in general that they were able to craft and pass a bill that's done as well as it has with one of our major political parties doing everything in its power (while having a majority in Congress and now the Presidency) to completely undermine it since day 1.
