Why do the people that support NN repeal now love fake news networks?

Anyone else find it interesting the same people that support NN repeal suddenly love the corporations that own the networks tbat have pushed the fake news cycle (CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, etc)?
When did the NN repeal supporters learn to stop worrying and love the networks that tried (and continue to try) to screw them over?

Its a point I have supported since well before Trump got elected. Btw I have never voted as a Democrat.
