You only need a passport or birth certificate to register to vote. You don't have to carry them when you actually go to vote.
And anyway, if you are not white, you probably already carry your passport with you in case ICE stops you, so what's the big deal??

You need those things to get a drivers license in Georgia and you need your drivers license or another government is to vote.
