Mankind has been marching toward progress since the day he stood erect and said "damn, the view is much better from here...but my fricking back hurts....."
There have been setbacks and periods when the ignorant and the unenlightened had their day but in the overall time frame of man those periods have been blinks of an eye....so while it may be true that progressives have taken a sound beating in the last 6-7 years you have to keep some perspective.....a little over 8 years ago we elected the most progressive president this country has arguably ever had....and surely no one can go to walmart or kroger anywhere in the US and realize that the right and middle aged white folks stranglehold on the United States is doomed to the ash heap of history and soon.....

Define the terms. What would you accept as "successful"? Without that definition, trying to show you would be a silly game of "not good enough...try again."

Let's ignore the successful part. Name the countries that are run with conservative/limited gov't.
If it is such a great idea and is foolproof then their should be plenty to name.

It was your question. Why ignore it now? That said, we're back to definitions that you would find acceptable. Define your idea of "conservative/limited gov't".
