I wanted Clinton to win but 538 had it coming into the election as so narrow, only 2 or 3 points between them, within the margin of error on the polls. There was a feeling of dread because the polls were closing fast and momentum was with Trump.

I voted for Trump but didn’t think he would win but my wife always told me he would win. She’s saying the same this year.

I voted for Trump, but was filled with dread on that day. I was sure "she," that gloating vile criminal, was going sink the country after eight years of B-HO.
I refused to watch and retired to my home office to avoid the TV, while Husband, who had an instinct that Trump would win, started whooping and cheering as the night wore on. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the NYT election meters.
Tonight when Husband returned from work, he made the first optimistic remarks for Trump that he has all season. He's been worried and the worries have been evaporating. While there's a thicket of Biden signs all around, I'm still hoping Trump can pull it off again.
And I've already voted with DJT selected for the top of the ticket!
