Why do yall tell so many lies?
Not a single lie was told. In order to determine which variant, the swab has to be sent for DNA sequencing. Not something done at your local urgent care

can't differentiate between COVID, the flu and the common cold, either
Also, true. The CDC panel released for diagnosing COVID in Feb '20, does not detect flu, or RSV, or variants. In fact, they are discontinuing this panel on Dec 31st for that very reason

Which would be in-line with some assumptions earlier this week that we are 2-3 weeks from this plateauing.
FYI, hospitals starting increasing right about the 4th.
Finally, someone got the point! So I was about 2 weeks too early in my timeline.
My wife’s hospital started seeing their hospital fill up about a week and a half ago. They went from 1 COVID patient to having to open up new COVID floors in a matter of days.

You don't know what your talking about. My daughter tested positive Tuesday and they asked me to bring her back to the Dr so they could do another test to send to the state to test for variant.
ETA. They also tested for flu. Flu was negative.
If you carefully reread what you posted here, you will understand he knows exactly what he was talking about

do another test to send to the state to test for variant.
So unless you take a different test, no one knows what variant you have?

Also means, in addition to. So once again a separate test was needed for flu. And this was your personal experience, but you told someone else it wasnt true?
