At work and haven’t seen any vote totals. I’ve got some properties up in Hot Springs and was curious.

Hey, I’m getting plenty of updates on the house and senate. The board is one long stream on new threads on the subject. But I did t see one on pot. That’s why I’m asking

People can process multiple subjects at the same time.

Thanks. I’d like for it not to pass.

Recreational Weed (Issue #4) was polling around 60% FOR just about three weeks ago. There was a big shift in sentiment the past couple of weeks, mostly among liberals.

This failing has mostly to do with Progressives and liberals and libertarians deciding that the bill created a monopoly among current medical marijuana growers and dispensaries. The most leftwing Progressive state legislator, Greg Leding, was actively campaigning AGAINST recreational marijuana the past couple of weeks.

There's some truth to their objections, but it took people with $$$ to push the issue onto the ballot.

I live 25 minutes from the Missouri state line, so I'll be fine whenever, and medical cards are a joke to get here a this point if you want one.

But this failure rests mostly on Liberals who turned against it and spread disinformation near the end of the campaign.

We'll see if the patchouli idealists will even be able to get on the ballot in 2024. The medical marijuana cartel here still has the $$$, and now they've been spurned. They're going to keep making money.

Any new proposal that doesn't cut them in bigtime, they'll fight against, and may even sue to stop.

It was a stupid missed opportunity, in my view. It literally polled as easily passing up until the past 10 days or so.
