If the Dems had any sense, they would take a harder look at Gabbard to see if she ultimately has what it takes to be their nominee.
Her positions are not centrist, but her demeanor and delivery is composed, asserted factually, etc. She may not be enough of a socialist or progressive, but doesn’t make her case based solely on OMB.
Of the candidates on the left, she at least comes across as someone you could sit down with and actually discuss policy positions in a rational way. It may be part act, but that is how she comes across.

Tulsi is a very good friend of one of my best friends. She is a good person who if she changed her position on one or two issues I would love to see in the Oval Office (not just because I would have a free place to stay in DC).
She is definitely the most center of the leftists running, but where she is is still way left of where most of America is.
