at best there was evidence sufficient to obtain a warrant

That bar is on the ground but the timing appears to point to the evidence being rumors pushed by anonymous sources.

or 3) The warrants were approved by the Courts due to Team Trump's ties to the Russians and thus aren't a crime.

So the Obama administration spied on a political opponent under the pretense that he was a Russian operative and a national security threat.....weeks before the election.

That's gross misuse of power.

Do you deny that the FISA court authorized surveillance of a server inside Trump Tower?

If they did then nothing illegal happened on the Obama Administration's end- Court Authorized surveillance is legal.

Weird, you're misusing "common knowledge" here

So which is it? Did, as the NYT reported on January 20, the government wiretap Trump and his aides or were they just making the whole story up? One of two things are true.

A. The government, under Obama, was spying on a political rival during a presidential campaign.

Or

B. The media has spent the last almost two months running story after story trying to connect Trump to Russia all based in fake, made-up news, and lies.

Which one is it?

They clearly don't know which scandal to deny yet. Russians fake? Or did Democrats spy on Trump during the campaign?

So, illegality is the bar then?

Is "the president made a baseless accusation of a former president about something he read in Breitbart" an option?

Stop with this. Breitbart was not the first to report it. The NYT reported on it on Jan 17th, Jan 19th, and Jan 20th. As did other MSM outlets.

Trump is an idiot and doesnt know the difference bn the presidenet ordering a wire tap and the FBI investigating Russian influence into his campaign based on Russian intercepts.

Maybe you missed the thread that pointed out FISA requests are done specifically at the presidents behest, or the one person acting in his stead?

This forum has turned into the Downs version of Breitbart.

And yet the IC has since released their report saying NO AMERICAN was colluding with Russians. I assume you are willing to admit that includes Trump staff too?

So we now know

1) No Russian banks were acting illegally (as demonstrated by the FBI wiretaps expiring)

2) The first FISA was turned down because it had Trumps name on it

3) The 2nd FISA was approved, wrote about in Slate and tweeted by HRC within a matter of hours (how about that for NATIONAL SECURITY)

4) A FISA request requires the presidents knowledge for approval

No spinning that any more

Well, Obama made a baseless accusation about a future president never being president, so there's that. Did you get upset over that?

I don't think you know what an accusation is.

I didn't think the former mayor of Port Allen posts here....
