Trump campaign pushing for John James to run for House as opposed to

Senate in 2020 due to a concern that James running for Senate as they are afraid would increase Democratic attention on the state of Michigan and harm Trump's chances there. It's towards the bottom half of the linked article. I disagree pretty strongly that him running for Senate would hurt Trump's chances in Michigan, don't know what the hell they are thinking. Dems will not sleep on Michigan in 2020 regardless of who is running for Senate.

Not to mention that James would have a good chance of winning the Senate seat, which we desperately need! And someone like James having a high ranking position in government would be a huge boost for conservatives.
