Trump Admin taking 2nd amendment case to court.

Of course, the Trump Admin (and therefore his DOJ) supports the Second Amendments. So, if true, and it is, why then are they taking this case to courts?
This tactic in the case of U.S. v. Hemani will essentially result in the SCOTUS entrenching Second Amendment rights. Losing the case here is therefore actually a win for gun owners....hence the point of them pushing it forward.
Gotta love it!
