I read it reported yesterday that they will be incentivizing whistleblowers to come forward by giving them up to 30% of fines collected through fraud prosecutions. I think that's a great idea.

The 30% bounty is definitely a huge incentive, but most people don't realize how strict the filing process actually is. I was reading a breakdown on JD Supra about the Treasury/FinCEN whistleblower regulations, and if you mess up the submission form or try to file without proper legal counsel, you can easily void your eligibility for the payout or worse, lose your anonymity. Huge potential payouts, but you definitely need a specialized lawyer to navigate it safely.

Time to get out in the community and look for some Learing Centers.
