good stuff. his reflections on the revolution in france was good too. reinhart koselleck's critique and crisis still influences my thinking about the french revolution. and kudos to the OP - we read rites of spring in one of my seminars on 19th century european history. eksteins is a fabulous historian.

as an undergrad, read a lot of richard rorty on philosophy and gianni vattimo and john d. caputo on religion and phil. of religion. still fond of those guys.

those are the titles/authors that stand out in my mind. i think i've forgotten half the shite i read in grad school :-P
