Do you not think this is one of the most petty ridiculous wins or losses between to political side? If the NFL ratings went up or down 3%?
It's gotta be a new low of insignificant.
The left has been at war with the values and traditions of this country for a while now and a lot of good people on the right and in the middle have been mostly silent because every attack is small and petty. What it adds up to is big, though.
We don't want to mix politics with our entertainment and we don't want to be lectured to by a bunch of millionaires that are complaining about injustice to people who live paycheck to paycheck.
Petty or not, this is an issue that is visible and in the public eye.

Because the pregame was up from last year and the game was down...put together it's a tiny increase from last year's decline
Translation: people turned it off because of the anthem. thats what they call a red flag

Do tell.
He started a thread chirping about Sunday Ticket subs being down.
But the article (from April) was about 1st quarter DirectTV subs being down and that was partially explained by DirectTV Now launching and people switching to that.
No mention of Sunday Ticket in the article at all.

I don't really see how yesterday is the measure of where ratings head. Lets see next week. Let's see November. Most people who tuned in at 12:00 knew nothin about it.
But hey. That's the "winning narrative" game everyone wants to play--all the way up to the WH.
Meanwhile on the healthcare front...

So many rarely understand what they actually see.
Up or down -- it is % versus last year -- which had huge drops versus how many consecutive seasons of increase?
Last year was called a fluke, no Manning, elections. etc. So if last year was a fluke - this year should be WAY UP. But it is not. It is DOWN AGAIN. Down from the VERY POOR YEAR. Down down down. Is it 10% so far? Was it 15% last year?
It is getting worse, this is not related to Manning, there is no more election. Networks are set to lose over $200 million a piece if these trends continue.
This kneeling protest has been occurring at the EXACT same time in history as the ratings dip.
But it is totally unrelated right?
We will all know the answer soon enough. When is that next CBA set for negotiations?
