You’re sort of coming off as an elitist dick. Hopefully you’re not that guy. Pride in your accomplishments and those of your family is a fine thing.
But thinking you’re better than someone is the worst kind of pride. “Thank you God that I’m not a bum and a sinner like all those other people.”
If you’re that guy and your physician-to-be son is a chip off the old block I pity his future patients. Hopefully he’ll be mentored by someone who can inculcate in him some empathy and humility. I don’t see that coming from you from these posts.
