I have little doubt the system is held together with threats and blackmail.
I think there's a battle right now between the plutocrats and the "deep state" or entrenched shadow gov.

I think so too. Sadly, most people are taking sides with one party or the other instead of using this opportunity to tear shite down.

Wait till the Awan scandal breaks.
Tons of Dems, many on committees allowing them access to high side stuff, pooled their funds to pay the Awans' salaries and in return the Awans stole equipment, maintained servers on private property, and routed the nation's most sensitive information to those servers. The Awans are Pakistani. After this came to light, one Dem - Debbie Wasserman Schultz - still employed at least one of the Awans, and then threatened a police chief over property they confiscated related to this scandal.
It's a spy ring. In Congress. Hosted by the DNC. This is the scandal that will destroy the DNC.
