So, what does that do for the guy who just lost his job and received a $1,200 get the frick out of my face check in June?

I see you’re trying to conflate the two; but you never really got the point of the thread.

Maybe tell me about that money tree that just was planted on St Charles and Delachaise?

Have fun in Waveland!

Nobody on welfare is stopped from getting welfare

It's just that assholes that are hoarding. There is plenty of food and people will still get checks if they don't have a job.

Shakey's Pizza still gonna make pizza...Boston Market still gonna Boston Market...Iphone aint' going away...Apple Stores will open., Chick Fil' A still going to employ.

Lawyers and doctors will have jobs too,

The world isn't coming to an end.

Stop hoarding shite. Plenty of foods at the stores.

But enough with the toilet paper.

We aren't nine meals away. We are crazy people away.

No one is starving because of this. Everyone is eligible for unemployment. And jobs are open if you;re willing to go them.

This isn't some Potato famine. This is deliberate deprivation.

Go to the store, there are tons of people still working there. What makes you more special?

I’m fine. Stuck in TX for work and can’t get home because of the mandated 2 week quarantine. But they have governors calling for shelter in place until June! That came out today.

It may be getting better by the end of the month; but if you think New Orleans gears up for Jazz Fest or is the same at the end of April you are fooling yourself.

Yes trust the govt

Welfare sites are crashibg

They can’t even get FEMA trailers right and we should just blindly follow and obey.

It’s all gonna be alright, guys!

Jazz Fest has been pushed back till Sept. or Oct.. NOLA is in for some very tough times, but again, we will get through this, and in the end, we will be ok!

Not sure where he's been, but everywhere you around here go people are the nicest they've been in years. They stop for you, wave, smile and say a kinda word as they pass. Albeit, a bit farther away than we're use to. No one is cutting each other off. They pause to let you by, hold the door, and step back to let you by.

Then on the other hand there's always that clown toting three guns around... because... well two may not be enough.
