TDS makes otherwise intelligent people completely irrational.
I was at luncheon with one of my mentors last week. She's a highly accomplished scientist that was a Provost in the UC system and a University President at a B1G school. She speculated that Trump attacked Iran to distract from the Epstein files.
I asked if she really thought we would move two carrier groups halfway around the globe for a distraction? She was clearly annoyed by the question so I dropped it.
This is not an unintelligent person, but in that moment completely irrational.
