They may be liberal but they are starting to understand that democrats have left common sense in the past. Trump comes in, he’s not a “yes man”, he puts the mayor on the spot about permitting and speeding up the process and he is saying what the affected people want to hear.

I can tell you this, as an insurance employee, the total losses will be settled fast and the main concern of policyholders is the threat of the permitting and delays. Trump just laid it out with facts…. Clear the forests, make burn lanes, get the water to fight fires, cut the permits and let the people start working on THEIR property. I also thought it was excellent when the random guy brought up how the mortgage companies holding the insurance funds in escrow to make money off their payments.

Cut the bullshite and let the people do what they want. This is exactly what I and other millions voted for.

I fully expect the local agencies will slow this down to make money, the lawyers and public adjusters will slow this down because they are vultures. These total losses will be paid in full very fast (with limits and possible option increased feeling and ordinance/law) and California does not hold depreciation so they should be able to get to work, if you get your policy limits you should not need representation as there is nothing left to fight for but because these PAs and attorneys will lie and try to represent these people to get money will be pathetic. This isn’t auto or medical insurance and you get indemnified for your structure and contents, and do not get pain and suffering or anything else.

Let’s wrap this shite up and rebuild this area. I also get irritated with the other natural disasters because it seems like California is getting the special treatment because they are more wealthy. Im qualified to speak on FEMA as I’ve worked directly with them…. They are a huge bureaucracy that slows things down.
