In my 63 years of observation, just IMO, the 2 biggest mistakes our country made were allowing slaves to be brought to the continent and allowing slavery to continue after 1778, should have either freed them or sent them back for freedom. And the 2nd mistake was electing BHO as president. (That's more than 2). I think a black president being elected in 2008 was great, just BHO was the wrong person.

Slavery - agree
1965 immigration act is second though. Without it we don’t have BHO and most of our current issues.
Repeat after me, immigration is ultimately the singular issue of import in America. If a GOP wants to cut my taxes by 90% but still grant a million annual visas to the third world he should be looked at as an enemy of the people.
