Also, being able to pay back loans with before tax dollars would help a ton as well (yes the government gets a benefit from higher tax revenues on higher incomes (vs if you didn’t get x degree) & on interest).

This is directly contributing to the erosion of the middle class.
Students can't buy homes because they owe too much money on loans. A lot of people's wealth is held in their homes.
So who buys the homes that are out there? Wealthy investors who rent them out and make more money.

The rich get richer and people are not able to build wealth. Wealth that is unevenly distributed is bad for our service based economy.
