John Thune is worse than the turtle. That is quite the accomplishment!

I was pissed when Thune was installed as Senate Majority leader... because I knew exactly why he was selected. And he has proven my concerns to be true. He's a scumbag uniparty Deep State swamp POS.

You are 100% correct. Today’s WSJ had a news article about the large number of ambassadorships that are vacant, 18 months into Trump’s term. They said it was due to three factors:
1. Rubio recalled 30 ambassadors in an unprecedented move.
2. Trump doesn’t use ambassadors conventionally, preferring to use his own emissaries.
3. The Senate is making it difficult to confirm anyone.
Of course the “journalists” don’t tell you how many ambassadors have been nominated without any move to obtain Senate confirmation, leaving the reader to think it’s 1 and 2, that is, Trump’s fault.
If I would put money on it, I’d say it’s 3. And clearly John Thune is complicit.
Republicans in the Senate need to select a new majority leader.
