U.S. Rep. Dale Strong (R-Huntsville) has officially endorsed U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) to be the new Speaker of the House, giving Jordan the backing of the entire Alabama congressional delegation, minus U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (D-Birmingham).

Only five members of the House stood against McCarthy - Gaetz, Biggs, Crane, Rosendale, Goode.
If your Rep is not one of those five, find someone else.

There were originally 18 to 20 but they caved after several votes however they at least tried. Its the others who made zero effort.

He needs 217 I believe. Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-FL), who was going to vote for Jordan, will be absent due to his mother-in-law's funeral.
There are currently two vacancies in the House due to the resignations of one Republican (Chris Stewart of Utah) and one Democrat (David Cicilline of Rhode Island), bringing the total to 433 members. House Republicans have 221 members, while Democrats have 212.
