So who did Mifsud work for?

Seen rumblings that George Pap was set up or entrapped. Mifsud gave him the bad info originally.....is it believed Mifsud has ties to our government in some way? What is that angle?

The trump tower meeting was a dangle orchestrated by known members of the Clinton machine and Albright group. Most of these people are also tied to Orbis (steele UK intel). Yes, Pap was set up.

He was a western intelligence officer. He didn’t give Papadopoulos bad info. He just floated the question hey have you heard anything about Russians having dirt on Hillary? That way when downer asked him the same later, Papadopoulos can say well yea I’ve heard that before.
Look, if Mifsud was an actual russian agent actively shopping dirt on Hillary and meddling in our election, why wasn’t he arrested or indicted when he interviewed with the FBI in Feb 2017?

Downer has admitted the word email never came up in the bar in London. And if what you are saying is true, (it isn’t) why wasn’t Mifsud arrested in Feb of 2017?

Because he isn't a Russian agent. At least not exclusively. He is, however, connected to the British side of the dossier scandal.

Papadopoulos met with Halper who purported a bunch of rumors which conveniently match up with portions of the Steele Dossier (potential blackmail material on Trump), as well as claims that Russians are peddling dirt on Hillary.
Then PapaD meets with Mifsud who conveniently asks him if he’s heard any news about Russians peddling dirt on Hillary and Trump.
Then PapaD meets with Downer who again conveniently asks him if he’s heard any news about Russians. Except this time PapaD is drunk and tells Downer he keeps hearing that Russians have dirt on Trump and Hillary.
Downer then relays this information to Brennan who in turn relays it to Strzok/McCabe/Comey/Yates, and the FISA warrant application is soon submitted using the Dossier, the Yahoo article (circular sourced by Steele himself), and testimony from Downer about his conversation with PapaD.
Classic case of entrapment and circular sourcing to manufacture probable cause rationale.
Then PapaD meets with Mifsud who conveniently asks him if he’s heard any news about Russians peddling dirt on Hillary and Trump.

I will say this, I do think that the Clinton people knew there was a leak at about this time. I just don't think Mifsud was the leaker. He was damage control.
The dossier was damage control.

Not according to Pap, in his testimony he said Mifsud claimed to "have dirt" but Mifsud did not elaborate more than that.
***EDIT***
I was wrong. According to the DOJ interview Mifsud not only mentioned the Russians had "dirt" on Clinton but "thousands of emails" as well.
