Crap, just looked it up and you are correct. Any suggestions on how to give charitably per chapter 17 verse 20 of the Gita? We are good people, educated and devote, it just seems all donations are a scam.
May I recommend the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption? Four Star rated by Charity Navigator.

We were going to adopt ourselves after we went four years of trying and could not get pregnant. But less than two weeks later, after signing up and paying the initial fee my wife miraculously became pregnant. We cancelled the adoption process but donated the $5K we'd initially put up to start the adoption process to this foundation.

Funny story (at least to me) that happened yesterday. I went to WalMarks to get wet dog food amd they had a SA “representative” out there ringing her bell.

I asked her if she was aware how dismissive of white people SA has become. Of course she had no idea bc she was just doing her job.

I showed her the article about SA dumping on kkkrackers and she was rather shocked. I told her that her boss doesn’t trust her bc she is black and put a spiffy lock on her bucket and how did that make her feel. You could tell she was rather unnerved that a customer would tell her that.

Yes, she was a black woman but was surprisingly rather receptive.

Finally said that I wouldn’t give any money to that organization bc apparently white money isn’t needed but to be sure to tell her higher ups that one kracker won’t be supporting them any longer

You don’t have to be a mathematician to figure out that if things cost more, people have less disposable income to donate.

Thanks uncle joe.

F them I actually buy presents and donate DIRECTLY to the family or family members in need. Nobody takes a cut of the money and 100% goes to the people in need. Yes I lose a tax deduction but That’s not the point of giving anyway.
