Absolutely spot on J Woke your first upvote coming. And Robert Edward Lee was not a pro slavery advocate. If Virginia had stayed in the Union, Lee would have been the Unions top General without a doubt. Those men lived in an honor important society. The slightest insult would get you killed in a duel man. Robert E Lee could not have raised his hand against Virginia. Lee knew slavery was immoral and evil.

It is a shame that leaders do not speak like this anymore. You would think with all of these nationalized educational standards they as well as all of our kids would be able too.

The universities they attend are indoctrination centers and credential mills, nothing more. An individual can make more out of them for his/herself, but the types who eventually become "leaders" don't. They are interested in the network, so they can get to the starting point of a lifetime of pursing the next title before their frickups in their current one become apparent.

It’s truly a shame the civil war has been completely boiled down to slavery. We have lost all context of the moment with history.

I mean we are taking down Christopher Columbus statues. Yes, some ugly things happened to colonize the planet, but Is the solution to just blank out history? Was it not for the better of mankind?

That really does clear it up for me. I mean it. Great post. I watch what helped to social studies (civ School and history) over the past few years with my kids and it really is disturbing. And the schools are preoccupied with standardized test scores more than actually teaching the kids.

We don’t have leaders that think of what it takes to maintain sovereignty. They only MANAGE what we have. They do not lead. They have no idea what the goal of the country is. They only have their small stupid ideas and there thousands of them and they fight for those small stupid ideas without any idea what the overall direction of the country is or should be. Now you have just a bunch of stupid ideas that don’t work towards any one over arching goal. It’s a mess.

This is why they panic when something goes wrong. They don’t have the end goal in sight. So they don’t even know what they are fighting for. Their years work on getting mail in votes gets turned on its head and they don’t know how to react other than panic.

Not to sound simple while it is. Trump has a goal. Make the county prosperous. Obama did to. Fundamentally change it. He never specified what that meant. Trump did.

Still a great post and point you make.

Yeah I’m not necessarily speaking about to Trump. The presidents I do believe are leaders but they are hamstrung by the managers they have below them. I’ve never heard of a successful organization where the store managers are running the direction of the company as a whole.
