Through all these post one main fact has slipped through.

Most deaths are accidental.
1. People who use opioids eventually build up tolerances to them. They start climbing the ladder to get relief until they switch to something like Fentanyl. If done through legit use Doctors are good about finding a dose that works.

Part of the problem are the Pill Mill shoppers and addicts that think it will give them a 3 day high. When you are not resistant or have built up tolerance you are going die if unsupervised.

I speak from experience as a life long chronic pain sufferer. Unless doctors find some kind of gene therapy to fix me, I will always need them to have any function of a normal life. While I praise the President for trying to fix a problem, he has branded legit users and scared every doctor from doing their duty.

One of the biggest problems with Fentanyl is it is semi new to the dealers.

Dealers have not learned how to properly cut and mix it yet. Once they have worked out the proper way to cut Fentanyl it should help decrease the overdose deaths.

Dealers don’t want to kill their customers. Deaths also bring in more heat from police, FBI, and politicians. Both are bad for business.

I would think when people start using street Fentanyl they are already addicts.

No. Just no. You can "properly cut and mix" a batch of dope. It can have precise proportions and measurements. The problem is with a substance so powerful you will have "hotspots" in a bag that are strong enough to kill where the rest of the bag is just fire arse dope .

Isn't that just Darwin at work?

You KNOW fentanyl will kill you if not used properly (in a medical setting). You KNOW that the fentanyl you are selling will more likely than not kill it's user. Yet you either a) take it anyways or b) sell it anyways... seems REALLY smart to me.
