Russians actions are nothing more than the actions of a thug state invading it's neighbor, an action that has started world wars and has never been solved by appeasement. I say that as someone who understands what you call ethnic conflicts. Those are not ethnic conflicts, they are business conflicts, pro Russian business (bribery, payoffs) business types against pro-Western (EBITDA bookeeping, no envelope salaries, rule of law) business.
