No I didn't. Obviously my addressing of that fact went over your head. Planning to invade a country you are at war with does not mean that you had intentions to invade or take over said country prior to the outbreak of hostilities. In order to end the war, Germany had to invade Great Britain.
Just as one could not validly argue that the US sought ownership or domination of Japan based on the fact that we invaded it's empire and plotted the invasion of the mainland. It's completely invalid logic. Give me a break.

do we believe the immigration laws will change with the first Latino President and a majority Latino congress?

They were refused entry and shipped back to a certain death. There is a high likelihood these kids will be sent back to places where they will be maimed, tortured, killed and raped. Any of y'all that support these children being returned to an environment like this simply have no conscience. These kids should be allowed to stay. If we would reform the adoption system in this country I'm sure there are plenty of people who would gladly take these children in.
The refugees on the St. Louis were not our responsibility, and neither are these illegals from south of the US border and Central America.
If we as a nation were to have concern with every country and every people, we would not have made it this far.
