Usually there is 1 or 2 things beneath headline number of a jobs report that are negative, such as a decline in labor force participation or cruddy wage growth

Today, I’m not seeing any negative stuff beneath the surface

1) labor force participation rose 0.2%

2) despite number 1, unemployment rate held steady

3) wages grow 3.1%, fastest since 09.

Just a great report!

Don’t worry. The media will find the negative.

Hell, they’ve even reported “There’s too many jobs available and it’s hurting the economy.”

The employment numbers are good. Trumps policies do get some credit there but not all of the credit for the economy as he would have you believe. That is a positive though. On the down side we have a president deflecting the truth and diverting what is the news to make us forget about the social security, medicare and pre existing condition issues. He made up the middle class tax break to deflect and he is fear mongering the caravan to deflect that behind the scenes he is going to screw over the middle class. He has them so worried about rapist brown people that they do not see his usurption of middle class necessities. He does not care because it does not affect his nest egg and he knows most of his followers are too scared of the make believe boogeyman he created to learn about his plans to fund the deficit at his followers expense. His ego and lack of truthfulness are going to make our lives harder but he knows his base is too emotional and fact deprived to care

and yet Republicans arent running on the economy because if they do they have to pivot to the tax cuts that arent doing a fricking thing for the middle class.

Trump and pubs have put all their hope in a base that believes the fear mongering from the Horde 1000 miles south of the border that might throw rocks.

So your standard deduction doubling isn’t good enough?

As far as fear mongering, your people claimed that trump would put gays in concentration camps. Our concern of migrants coming into the country illegally is an actual legitimate concern.

Nice try, though.

You keep on saying they aren’t running on tax cuts, but that is simply false

It is the number one issue they are running on
