Why do we keep looking up to politicians to save us every time something goes wrong? All of these issues start in your homes, in the communities, not in the offices of politicians.

When will this country stop worshipping politicians???

THEY WILL NEVER SAVE YOU. STOP EXPECTING THEM TO.

Nothing can stop it "every time". But sometimes they do.

I literally just deleted twitter because of all the sky screamers demanding that Trump and congress “DO SOMETHING!!!!!”

MF’er you do something! Do you even know what your kids are watching at night or their online activity? Probably not.

Sickening.

The government has become our God and the left more than anyone worships at the altar of DC.

Solution to what?
Unnamed generic problems laid out in a melt thread?
If we are talking the topic dujour, I’d start with raising the bar for gun ownership in regards to mental health screening. I feel as though the restrictions for that were rolled back in recent years but I’m, admittedly, not certain.

Yeah and what about the "mental health issues" that spring up spontaneously?

People act like there are clearly defined metrics for what constitutes a "mental health issue". Newsflash: THERES NOT.

I don’t know.
I work in transportation and I know that to maintain your CDL you must pass a physical every three years, then register your physical with your states DOT in order to legally operate. Failure to do so is immediate suspension and a heavy fine.

That’s to make sure joe blow truck driver doesn’t fall out behind the wheel due to high/low BP or a case of the sugars.

Why would that be so unreasonable?
